NICHOLAS WHITCOMB

Nick moved to Hawai’i when he was 9, and has enjoyed watersports for leisure and competition ever since he got here. After studying chemistry with focus on materials science for three years at Western Washington University, he transferred to University of Hawai’i at Manoa to finish his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering with a focus in systems. Nick is pleased to find applications of his knowledge in materials science and organic chemistry in this research project. After graduation, Nick hopes to apply his skills in developing renewable energies.
